Attention all kids in the town of Savanna!! The Savanna Volunteer Fire Department is challenging all kids in town to a water fight! Fire fighters will begin driving the city streets at 11 am on Sat Aug 26, 2023! So kids, get your water guns, water balloons, water hoses to spray the firefighters back with or just get sprayed by the firefighters! Let’s get out and make the best of this heat wave and show support for our firefighters! ????

Trash Service Announcement


The Town of Savanna will be changing to a new trash service as of August 4, 2023. Please be sure to have all blue trash cans by roadside to be picked up on August 1. New trash cans will be delivered that week and trash pickup day will change from Tuesday to Friday each week. Please be patient while we transition to this new service.

The City of Savanna wants to announce that Officer Harnly will be moving Departments the end of this month. The City of Savanna and Police Dept. would like to thank Harnly for servicing the town and it's residents especially the Savanna Public School the last couple years. We wish Harnly the best on his new chapter and know he is leaving us on good terms. Officer Harnly thank you and we appreciate your time here in Savanna!
